Helping Frontline Workers One Meal at a Time

In the past few weeks Eugenio’s Ristorante has partnered up with Compass and Med4OurWorld to provide over 250 meals for frontline workers across San Diego county.

Compass shared, “As Covid-19 cases increase, our Emergency Rooms and ICU Departments are seeing an influx of patients. In an effort to keep up with the demand, medical professionals in these departments are working long, exhausting hours battling the virus at the risk of their own health and safety.”

Motivated by what was going on Eugenio donated his time to make sure these frontline workers had an old school Italian homemade meal. Compass also shared, “After years of dreaming of having his own authentic Italian restaurant Eugenio opened for business earlier this year. He and his staff are working hard to remain open during this challenging time and have nightly dinner take available.” Eugenio did not know how things were going to turn out at the beginning of the Pandemic. Just like every small business owner things were a little iffy, but thanks to our community Eugenio’s Ristorante has been able to keep their doors open for takeout orders and wanted to help right back by making a positive impact.
